Ken Kocienda was a software engineer and designer at Apple for over fifteen years. After graduating from Yale, he fixed motorcycles, worked in the editorial library of a newspaper, taught English in Japan, and made fine art photographs. Eventually, he discovered the internet, taught himself computer programming, and made his way through a succession of dot-com-era startups, before landing at Apple in 2001, where he worked on the software teams that created the Safari web browser, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. Ken lives in San Jose, California with his wife.

Excellent book, especially for those who are technically inclined or are willing to dive into the technical problems that were discussed in the book.It was vers inspiring at times, especially to someone who is just starting out in a career in engineering.Several things are repeated a few times, but keeping Amazon's rating scale in mind, I give it five stats.
Einmal in der Hand gehabt und schon hatte war das Cover voller schwarzer Flecken, als ob ich meine Hände davor in Dreck gesudelt hätte. Warum nimmt man nicht das originale Cover?Inhalt ist natürlich top! Da es hier ja um den Inhalt geht, gebe ich (trotz des besch******* Covers) 5 Sterne.
Leider ist das Cover des Taschenbuches wirklich so hässlich wie auf dem Bild. Ich dachte das Bild ist eine art Platzhalter-Bild da das Buch noch nicht erschienen war. Leider ist dies nicht der Fall und Amazon nimmt 3,50 für einen Umtausch, da die Rücksendung nicht gratis ist.Ich habe mich für das Taschenbuch entscheiden, da die meisten meiner Bücher Taschenbücher sind und nicht um die 5 Euro im Vergleich zum Hardcover Buch zu sparen.
